So, I just quit my job at 371 Diner on Sunday, and let me tell you it feels GREAT. I haven't had this much free time and nothing planned all summer.
So I went to the Bodog Battle of the Bands on Sunday in Minneapolis to see Sunshine Behavior, and they won! So they advance to the next round, which is sometime in November I believe, and we (The Sunny B Army) are going to go cheer for them then and hope that they pull off another win!
In other news, life has been rather lifelike. Not much has been happening, I hung out with Bryce tonight because he's leaving for college on Saturday. Tomorrow I'm going to hang out with Kellee, who is leaving for college on Sunday. I'm going to miss all of my graduated buddies that are leaving and have already left, but I'm sure I'll see most of them again. No worries, life goes on.
My foreign exchange student has been here for a week and a half, and that is cool. She's a really cool person. We're all going to the Renaissance festival on Sunday, so that should be fun. She's excited for school.
It's the last week of summer vacation! I hope everyone is enjoying themself to the full extent. However, I am hungry, so I am going to go.

Mmmmmmm... Cherry Pie.
I have my song for acting class. Warrent's " Cherry Pie." The song has suggestive lyrics, and a great guitar. To top it all off... I get to wear tight leather. Chyes!

And I was in such a good mood...
You know, as I chow down on a bar of Hershey's Chocolate and watch the horrible Alien Resurrection, I can't help but wonder if someone is toying with my life. I woke up today mildly filled with hope and to the fact that it was Monday. After taking a shower and shaving, two things I haven't done in a while, I pick up the phone and call Pat's cell. Typically, I get the answering machine (Voice mail if you want to be snoody). I wait...and nothing happens. Sure, I don't mind that I get to watch my shows during daylight hours and that I actually eat half of dinner. I just stopped caring.
On a side note, something that is going to make all that read this cheer in their seats, Sam Fox is moving to the south of the Twin Cities. Yay.
Pat, you are a kick ass carebear, and you already know that, so don't try to deny it. But I will be trying out for The Diviners (or whatever it is) and I don't know what I'm going to mark yet but I've finally broke out of your condescending shadow. I am going to use what's left of summer to collect my dignity. I really do hate you with all of my heart and it's beating so hard, I think my ribcage is going to crack. Sure, I hate everyone, even the nice people (sorry, Dain), but I loath you most of all. For some odd reason, I don't feel the need of explaining it to you.
Bubbly Donny is buried alive, kicking and screaming, gasping for oxygen, and all you do is piss on his grave. Thanks a lot, pal...

auditions and awkwardness
so jace, pat and i auditioned for captain racket. it went fine for me, and i think it went well for pat and jace too. so after that we went over to applebees and when jace and pat showed up they said they had gottten raped. i was like raped? (one eyebrow raised) and they were like yeah and they told me how a to girls whooped and howlered (might be spelled wrong) at them when they were driving over. i said i think that isn't rape as we opened the first set of doors to applebees and when we entered through the last set of doors into the restuarant pat says "Do you want me to show you what rape is?" he said it kind of loud too and the person who was going to seat us just kind of looked like she didn't want to be there and there was a little awkward silence. so anyways "do you want me to show you what rape is?" is a new statement to write down, along with all of logans.

I'm catching up!
The only reason why I wasn't posting that much was that I didn't want to seem like a blog hog, but since you guys pushed me, I will try to post EVERYDAY! Is that okay? Because it's okay with me! Enough of this foolishness.
I was wondering, if I set a date for a movie marathon, how many of you would come? I don't mind if it's a small group, but I just want more people to expand their horizons in the way they see film. If it came down to a lot of people, carpooling would be recommended. Also, they would probably be on Saturday nights so as not to be that much of a hassle. For a place, I don't know yet. Maybe switch it up each time. Anywho, the first one probably won't be until the end of September, so we have plenty of time to plan.
Pat, since I still have your headphones and you bought a new pair, what if we make an exchange? I mean, it's not like you are going to be using them! I don't know, contact me.
The Halloween party marathon might change to a Saw marathon. Saw II: Special Edition will be out sometime at the end of October and I will most likely get it. Maybe even go to Saw III to top it all off! Man, I'm just crazy about that Saw!
Well, I guess I better be winding this up soon. Otherwise, I might end up rambling. On a last note of business, Crank will be released in theaters on Sept. 1st. It is looking very good, like a mix between Speed, The Transporter Series, and a better Running Scared. Most of you can't or won't go to it, so I guess I just want to make sure it sounded like a good idea. And it does. END_OF_LINE.

You know what, I hate water.
Last night, it stormed mighty strong and the basement started to flood. So, for the next hour I was shoveling, soaking, sucking, and pushing water away from my room. You can understand my fear when a power surge affected the house and the horrible thought of me having to deal with the rapid waters in the complete dark. It was about 2:30 AM at the time! And I was just getting into the commentary on Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan! But I did stop it, thankfully.
Today, while I was at Menards, I bought Blade II and Harry Potter: The Prisoner of Azkaban, each for seven bucks! Jace, Blade I and II is there, and various others, if you wanted to know. Okay, who thinks that the triple-dip of the LOTR trilogy is deaf, dumb and blind? Both versions on one disc! I don't even want to think about the compression nightmare that must have been. Even the Extended Edition had to be fit onto two DVDs! Damn corporations!
The Halloween party thing got me thinking the other day. Maybe I should do a marathon every month or two weeks. Each one would obviously be themed, but to be honest, I sorta can't wait for Halloween. Opinions are very welcome.
P.S. Weird Al's "Don't Download This Song!" is free for download on his MySpace page and to be frank, it is AWESOME!!!

homework
pat or jace, how far were we suppose to read in the hand out spradlin gave us? it's our first assignment and i'm already asking what we're suppose to do, this isn't a good sign. but i have been practicing my air guitar and lip sync, i think i will most likely do a scorpions song, or maybe boston, it's hard to choose the band, but then you got to choose the song and that can be even harder.
Khaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!
You know what Pat, you're an ass. Snakes on a Plane tanked, PS3 isn't even in production yet and Wii is possibly going to be cheaper than originally said. This is a day for a hearty Viking laugh, but enough about that "stuff".
Well, since I didn't want to be left behind all yous guys, I'm posting. I don't really have anything to talk about unless you want me to go on about things many of you are not interested in. Blah blah blah...
I know it is quite early but I have the three horror movies that I'm going to show at my Halloween/Birthday party. First, I'm going to start off with the craziness that is Saw. Then, we lighten up the mood with Shaun of the Dead. Everyone loves a romantic comedy...with zombies. Finally, the best zombie movie ever, Dawn of the Dead. Not the stupid remake but the 1978 masterpiece. Opinions are welcome but Shaun of the Dead stays for sure.
Today was a good day and I am truly going to miss Tara, Jen, Derby, and Matt. Maybe it'll be better that they are gone because I believe that great people, like alcohol, should be taken in moderation. If not, idol worship would cause each other to fight to the death...over worship. Oh snap, Christians! Okay, now I'm tired. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz*hiccup*!
P.S. Get it? Alcoholism is hilarious!

You Asked For A Post...
Well, I'm posting, for no reason except that I was told to. My foreign exchange student arrives tomorrow. That should be fun.
I have a computer in my room now, which is sweet. My sister Shayla is in town until tomorrow, which is equally sweet. I miss my Shayla. Work sucks. I need a different job. Not necessarily a "better" one, just a different place. I'm sick of the Diner.
I went to World Trade Center tonight with Hannah Cooper. I wasn't all that impressed. But hey, it was free so it's all good. Hannah rocks. I went to my dad's last night with Brea, Shayla and Mitch. Then today was the family reunion, which I missed most of because I had to work this morning. Anyway. I'm going to get going. I think the family is playing cards tonight.

present shopping
I decided on my day off that I should go get some gifts for our college bound graduates. I found out something while shopping. I can't. If I had to go gift shopping by myself I would come home with bubble, and ugly shirts. For this reason I recruited an equally bad shopper. Donny. I always thought that two wrongs must make a right. I think we proved that. Not only did we not buy bubbles, but we were able to think of some secondary novelty gifts.
Dain, I'll have that mix ready by Monday. Any songs you want on their in particular. ( The first word for Dain on spell check is damn)

Guthrie
On Sunday Dain, and I will be going to the Guthrie to see The Great Gatsby. I know that all of our seniors ( that had Hewitt fo pre-AP) know what the the Gatsby is about, and I've heard good things. Dain, I'll give you a call and get info for you.
I went to the county fair this week. Twice. First time was uneventful, but the second time... that was crazy. I was walking around with a friend when a young twenty something asked us if we wanted to take a survey. We were bored, so we said yes. What a mistake. I found out in just seconds that it was a mistake. It was a survey about religion, or more so lutheran's. Now I'm a very accepting person when it comes to religion, yet it was still uncpmfortable talking to a person about religion. I also found out that I was talking to a pastor. Now I'm a catheist, so this guy is a lot of what I'm against, and he was doing a lot of insulting against catholics. It bugged me, and it gave me reason to hate a church in Duluth. That was the only thing I was able to do at the county fair. The rides our way to scary. I thought the ponies would trample me if I rode them. I also saw a bunny that mooned me.
Ahhh, look at the cute puppy
